Bulldog Animation

A while back I had to develop content for the social media page of a veterinary clinic. “Don’t discriminate, adopt a mutt” was the core message. It was the perfect opportunity to see how far I could go with my newly acquired Adobe After Effects animation skills. The characters were initially drafted on paper, then finalized in Adobe Illustrator.

This was the transition project after years using Adobe Flash for similarly styled short films. Since then, After Effects has become my tool of choice. Particularly now that the Lottie extension is a thing. It allows you to translate a complex animation into code. Making it easy and lightweight to integrate it on the web with some basic JavaScript. As shown on my portfolio’s header with my animated logo.
